Rising Rhino Summer School

Rising Rhino Summer School starting June 15th. Scholars attend school every other day at NMA Monday through Friday. When at home, scholars complete assignments using their Chromebooks that support their learning.

It's Yearbook season! Preordering is only available online this year due to COVID-19. You may preorder your yearbook here for $15 each:

There are only 150 copies so make sure to secure yours today! Date of arrival and pickup is still pending.

RHINO Family Care Packages - Accepting Donations!

NMA is currently accepting donations of the following items for our family care packages:
1. School Supplies (paper, crayons, pens, pencils, notebooks)
2. Games (used board games, card games, jump ropes, balls)
3. Seeds (lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, cilantro)
4. Self-care products (toothpaste, shower care, diapers, wipes)
5. Money (Monetary donations will go towards a 5 lbs bags of rice)

All donations can be dropped off at our front office from 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM by Friday, May 22nd.

NMA's Safety and Health Guidance

"New Millennium Academy (NMA) provides a safe and healthy work and learning environment for 1) all staff when in the facility and during meal and/or item distribution and 2) children attending NMA’s childcare program. Following the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) recommendations, this guidance includes information on staff training to prevent transmission of the coronavirus (COVID-19). "

COVID-19 Food Assistance For Families

To our NMA Families, here is a resource for if you and your family need food assistance during this uncertain and difficult time. Please do not hesitate if you have questions or concerns.

NO COST CHILD CARE - For Families of Tier 1&2 Critical Workers

NMA will provide a no-cost childcare to NMA's scholars (KG - 12 years old) whose parents are emergency workers.

If you are an emergency worker and are interested in enrolling your child into our child care program, email for more information.


Please note the following changes to services during spring break, March 30 - April 3.

-NMA’s building hours will be 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday - Friday.

-NMA will not provide childcare for children of emergency workers.

-NMA will not provide meals for scholars.

Letter From Our Principal

The situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to evolve rapidly, and, understandably, NMA families have questions and concerns. To provide you with the most current information, I will begin posting daily updates on NMA’s website at I am committed to the health and wellbeing of NMA’s scholars and staff, which is why I am taking precautions at every level of the organization to prevent illness. I am also working with NMA’s Academic Leadership Team to develop contingency plans in the event of a school closure.
